I think fnatic will take inferno, NiP cache, and fnatic any of the last three. I am expecting this matchup will be Inferno, Cache, and then either overpass, nuke, or mirage. Their last inferno game was awhile ago at pantamera, which fnatic won easily. They beat NiP with Allu on Mirage and with Delpan on Mirage and Cache. Fnatic has beaten NiP on both maps since then - in the king of majors tournament, and in faceit. I think fnatic was playing poorly at that tournament though, right after playing NiP and losing 1-2, they lost 0-2 to dignitas (now TSM). I think his playstyle is better for competing with JW (both are aggresive peeking awpers with insane twitches and reaction time, JW has the edge ofc).Īt MLG Aspen NiP won on cache and mirage against fnatic. The last time NiP beat fnatic was at MLG Aspen, and Maikelele was playing really well for them. I stick with what I said above, though - fnatic are the better bet. I hope I didn't get that one wrong for you, NiP are surging hard right now. Originally posted by Unknown:Thats the answer I was looking for. This is the first game in a long time where I think the vetos may decide the outcome. NiP may not spend a veto on cbble, and that would go poorly for them. I would take fnatic, and hope that NiP peaked in the semi's. Fnatic is probably looking at taking inferno after seeing NiP lose to TSM on it - it also doesn't suit Allu's play style well, and fnatic has beaten them there before. If D2 is vetoed I think they will go for Mirage, Krimz looked shaky on it during the VP game and Krimz is the centerpiece of the CT Mirage play. They are playing really well on it right now. NiP will probably take Dust2 if fnatic doesn't veto it. NiP are going to have to waste a vote to get rid of cbble, and all of fnatic's other maps are also strong. That said, fnatic's cobblestone is an ace that I think gives them the edge, and they are a stronger team mentally so I think they will come back to form tomorrow.
